Effective 1th Apr. 2015, the maximum compensation amount limit of uninsured goods for the delivery section bound to Singapore air cargo manifest will be changed among Qxpress delivery service regulation.
1. Change point
The maximum compensation amount will be adjusted if Customer’s cargo is not covered by QXPRESS’s cargo shipping insurance to the delivery section bound from Korea to Singapore Standard and the local delivery section in Singapore: USD100 -> SGD300
All parcels in excess of the scope of compensation should be insured.
2. Effective date: 1th Apr. 2015

3. Changed Clause in Terms of Service (Qxpress Terms of Service)
1) Article10 (Limitations of responsibility) Clause 10.5
<Before>
10.5 If Customer’s cargo is not covered by QXPRESS’s cargo shipping insurance, the maximum compensation amount will not exceed USD100.
<After>
10.5 If Customer’s cargo is not covered by QXPRESS’s cargo shipping insurance, the maximum compensation amount will not exceed SGD300(USD215).
2) Article 11 (Claim) Clause 11.5, 11.6, 11.7
<Before>
11.5 Without prejudice to Article 10 above, QXPRESS’s responsibility for damage or loss of cargo shall be limited to USD100, compensation limit of cargo or the amount declared on Customer’s waybill or invoice as designated by Customer at the receipt of cargo, when the claim raised by Customer is deemed as reasonable.
11.6 For any damaged cargo, the degree of actual cash value, damage of cargo in not excess of USD100, and compensation limit of QXPRESS shall be provided on the basis of QXPRESS’s assessment, while QXPRESS may choose either to replace damaged or lost cargo, or to make monetary compensation within the compensation limit.
11.7 QXPRESS’s responsibility may not exceed USD100 compensation limit, except for goods subject to QXPRESS’s insurance service, even for delayed delivery or for damaged cargo.
